OPheliah gimer

Director

Opheliah Gimer brings more than a decade of experience in early childhood education to her role as Director at Little Tigers Clubhouse. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to work with children of all ages, giving her a well-rounded understanding of early childhood development and the unique needs of children and families at each stage.

Opheliah holds a one-year degree in Early Childhood Education and is passionate about creating a nurturing, positive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. She truly loves working with children and is excited to build meaningful relationships with the children, families, and staff at Little Tigers.

Outside of work, Opheliah lives in Ankeny with her husband, their dog, and their cat. She is excited to be part of the Little Tigers community and looks forward to getting to know the families and children she serves.

Emaleigh Barber

Assistant Director

Emaleigh joined the Little Tigers team in November of 2024 and has loved every minute of this new adventure. She and her husband, Blaine moved to Linden back in 2023 when they inherited his grandfather's home. Since then, they have completely remodeled and have taught themselves how to do just about everything under the sun when it comes to home renovation. In April 2024, they welcomed their son, Ezra, to the world and have fallen in love with being parents! Emaleigh spends a lot of her free time with family, friends, and two fur babies; Tucker and Delilah.

Emaleigh is an Iowa State Alum (Go Clones!!) and holds a degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a focus in early childhood development. Before getting into childcare, she had taken a different route and worked with youth in residential treatment as well as crisis management. While very rewarding, she really missed working with younger kiddos, which is what lead her to Little Tigers.  Emaleigh has loved getting to know each and every child in our care as well as their unique personalities, they truly never fail to put a smile on her face.

Emily Moen

On site supervisor

Emily graduated in 2012 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. As the oldest of 4, it may come as no surprise that Emily has been working with kids and playing teacher since childhood. Emily has been working at Little Tigers since 2018 and has lead the school age program and been an on site supervisor since 2020. Emily has always been a teacher at heart, and homeschools her own children as well.
